Dr. Amit K. Ghosh is Professor of Medicine, Mayo Clinic and Director of International Clinic in the Section of Executive and International Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Rochester. Dr. Ghosh is a Medical Director of International Practice in Mayo Clinic , Rochester.

Dr. Ghosh is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Fellow of American Society of Nephrology , Fellow of Indian College of Physicians and Fellow of Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh. Dr. Ghosh received his MBA from Augsburg College, Minneapolis Minnesota, Certified Physician Executive (CPE) degree from the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) and is Mayo Clinic Quality Silver Certified. Dr. Ghosh is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and Certified Commission of Medical Management.

Dr. Ghosh has practiced medicine for 26 years and has been at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester since 2000. He has served in numerous education and practice leadership roles at Mayo Clinic namely, editor-in-chief of 3 books, Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Board Review book, Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine: Concise Textbook, Course Director Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Board Review and Course Director of Mayo Maintenance of Certification.

Dr. Ghosh has received numerous awards in his career including the 2009 Distinguished Service Award, Department of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, 2009 Distinguished Contribution to Medical Education, Department of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, 2009 MSCPD Dean’s Recognition Award, Mayo Clinic, 2010 Mayo Distinguished Educator, and 2012 Laureate of American College of Physicians (Minnesota Chapter)
